New Contract for Methods & Planning, with DG GROW

Methods and Planning was awarded the service contract "Management of the Administrative Secretariat of the "Co-ordination groups of the notified bodies" in the framework of the Union's New Approach Directives" from the European Commission, Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW).
This contract refers to the organisation of meetings of the coordination groups for Notified Bodies by taking on the management of the administrative secretariat. The administrative secretariat carries out all work relating to the preparation, organisation and monitoring of the coordination group meetings. The secretariat also works on the computerized management of the groups through the specific sites on the Commission’s CIRCABC site.

New evaluation project in Croatia: Evaluation of impact of Priority Axis 3 Business competitiveness, of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020

Impact evaluation of Priority Axis 3 "Business competitiveness", of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020 (OPCC) in Croatia.  The objective of the study is to estimate the effects of financial support provided within Priority axis 3 of the OPCC in relation to the goals for the period until the end of 2023. The evaluation focuses among on the effectiveness, effeciency and impact of the OPCC implementation and includes, inter alia, review of the system of indicators and related objectives, project stockpile analysis (quality, maturity and priority setting) and implementation potential (financial potential , potential related to the target values of the indicator) to the closure of OPCC.

New evaluation project in Croatia: Evaluation of the project selection criteria and application of horizontal principles

Evaluation of Project Selection System, Selection Criteria and Respect for Horizontal Principles, including direct grant award procedures that will cover all Priority axes of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020 (OPCC) in Croatia. The aim of the study is to evaluate the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and consistency of project selection procedures and the application of criteria for selection and observance of horizontal principles, namely whether and to what extent the principles of gender equality, sustainable development and environmental protection are complied with in accordance with Articles 7 and 8 of Regulation EU no. 1303/2013, including direct grant award procedures, with emphasis on procedures for identifying strategic projects. The results of the evaluation include recommendations for improving the quality, design and implementation of interventions funded through the OPCC, with the key analysis of OPCC selection criteria and selection systems.

Finalisation of the case studies analyses for the study

Our experts' team delivered case studies analyses for a study commissioned by the European Commission on the "Effective and efficient delivery of European Structural and Investment Funds investments – Exploring alternative delivery mechanisms".  The five cases referred to the in-depth analysis of the following delivery mechanisms:
1. Delegated Cooperation: Value Chain Agro Finance in Kyrgyzstan
2. Output Based Aid (donor: WB): Transport rehabilitation project
3. Performance contracts: Contract management National laboratory; Danish Ministry of Research to the National Laboratory Agency
4. Gemeinschaftsaufgabe: SME development, innovation, rural areas, in Germany

New Contract for Methods & Planning, with DG GROW

Methods & Planning was awarded the Contract "Management of the Administrative Secretariat of the Co-ordination groups of the Notified bodies in the framework of the Union’s New Approach Directives" from the European Commission, Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.
This contract refers to the organisation of meetings of the coordination groups for Notified Bodies by taking on the management of the administrative secretariat. The administrative secretariat carries out all work relating to the preparation, organisation and monitoring of the coordination group meetings, including the reimbursement of the travel and subsistence expenses for the chairpersons and of the staff of the contractor. The secretariat also works on the computerized management of the groups through the specific sites on the Commission’s CIRCABC site, i.e. the management of the Notified Body Coordination Groups’ related sites, providing assistance at the users’ requests, including training of the users, as appropriate.

Methods & Planning succesfully finalised the evaluation of a Health project in Greece

The evaluation of the operation "Prevention programs, health promotion and health education in the teenage polulation" under the EU co-financed Operational Programme "Human Resources Development 2007-2013" was succesfully finalised.  The evaluation was conducted to a large number of stakeholders from the relevant Municipalities, schools and community actors, and included a large-scale questionnaire survey to several thousands high-school students in Athens area.
